The team from Perfect World International has provided Requiem Lant us with this overview of War-song City, one of the locations in their MMO.
Formally a bridge between the Genie World and the land that makes up Perfect World, War-song City has been overtaken by the evil Incarcerate in hopes of controlling the power of the Genies. It is up to the denizens of the Perfect World to stop him!
In our latest expansion, the "Age of Spirits," we introduced the Genie system. Genies allow players to further customize their character with added skills. Now, following the Genies, we will be opening a new, exciting and unique instance called War-song City.
There are a lot of users playing MMOs and things like that, but it seems like they're not too willing to experiment with new titles. It seems user expectations for new games are the same as a game that's been running for many years and has already built up a huge feature set. How do you tackle that problem?
One option is online auction sites similar to Ebay but they also have their drawbacks in that they are poorly run. There is word that an auction site similar to Ebay is soon to be launched that is going to specialize in game accounts, so for now one can only wait and see what the future will bring.
