Can you save UI element positions?

I've been using the forum search, but it either hates me or doesn't like what I'm attempting to search for. (I'm leaning towards the first option).

I'm able to move elements of the UI around while I'm playing, but the game never remembers the positions.
If my pet is lost and re-summoned, it's window pops right back to the original spot.

I have found through my searches that any type of mods are a bad idea, so I'm hesitant to dig through the files.
