I know how boring is to have another thread about this, but i want to post the feeling i had when someone invite me to a raid one hour ago...

I recive an invitation to go to Robot Guard in JS. Then i start to think (this never end good, is my worst problem)... i would love to go, i never been there but...

Time: you spend 2, 3 hours hitting a boss, pressing the same 2 keys all the time. I dont know for other people but for me that is boring.

Reward: after you kill it, the boss only drop 2 stuffs, and people in the party, 15 players, roll for only 2 items. If you get the item you can be happy but you know the other people will feel like they waste their time, otherwise you dont get the item and you feel like you waste your time.

Then you have other problems outside the raid itself. I mean, i am lvl 71, if i get an item from there (lvl 75 items) i bring a problem to myself... I could sell the item of course but if i not then i must lvl to be able to use it. This take me to the problem about the endless and annoying grind.
But even if the grind wasnt that bad i will have in my hands a Carus item that is very hard to reinforce and/or enchant: carus xeons dont drop often (i am a free player and since the S2 start i only got one carus drop and wasnt a xeon), also if there were any in the AH it will cost a fortune. And of course you have the problem to not be able to reinforce the item to a high number without pay real money for it... i mean, i have a +10 lvl 65 wand and it have 55% chance of success if i try to +11, and is only eximius.

All this pass through my head in a sec, and unfortunately i decline the invitation. Why? because as i see it, and mostly for a free player, is a lose-lose situation. I really want to go to those raids with my friends but as it is now i dont feel like i want.
